SUB: RECRUITMENT OF FACULTY POSTS (GROUP-A) IN VARIOUS DEPARTMENTS AT AIIMS GORAKHPUR ON DIRECT RECRUITMENT BASIS-2021.
All India Institute of Medical Sciences, Gorakhpur an Autonomous Institute of National Importance is one of the new AIIMS and apex healthcare Institute being established by the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Government of India under the Pradhan Mantri Swasthya Suraksha Yojana (PMSSY) with the aim of correcting regional imbalance in quality tertiary level healthcare in the country and attaining self-sufficiency in graduate, postgraduate and higher medical education and training. Online applications from Indian citizens/persons registered as Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) cardholder under Section-7A of the Citizenship Act, 1955 as permissible under the applicable Act/Rules are invited for the following faculty posts on DIRECT RECRUITMENT BASIS IN VARIOUS DEPARTMENTS in All India Institute of Medical Sciences, Gorakhpur (Uttar Pradesh).

Weaker Sections (EWS).
1. The above vacancies are provisional and subject to variation. The Executive Director, AIIMS, Gorakhpur reserves the right to vary the vacancies including reserved vacancies as per the Govt. of India Rules/Circulars and requirements orotherwise.
2. Number of vacancies as advertised also include backlog vacancies from the previous recruitments.
3. 4% of the total vacancies is horizontally reserved for Person with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD)-OPH (OL) category candidates as permissible under the Rules. The Physical requirements to fill up the posts on horizontal basis are S (Sitting), ST (Standing), W (Walking), MF (Manipulation by Fingers) & RW (Reading & Writing). All the instructions of Govt. of India as applicable in this regard will be followed.
4. Reservation for Economically Weaker Sections (EWSs) shall be applicable as per Govt. of India, Office Memorandum No.
36039/1/2019-Estt (Res) DoPT dated 19th January, 2019 and 31st January, 2019. EWS candidate must ensure that they have a
valid EWS certificate on the last date of submission of application. * EWSs Candidates will attach certificate issued by the competent authority in the form prescribed as per Annexure – A.
5. The cut-off date to determine the maximum age limit, essential qualifications & experience will be the last date of submission of online application.
6. Relaxation of One-year Teaching/Research experience for SC/ST candidates in Faculty selection will be given as per
Rules/Guidelines issued by DoPT.
7. The period of experience wherever prescribed shall be counted after obtaining the prescribed qualification.
The Essential Qualifications and Experiences for the Posts are as under: -
* As per EWS guidelines posts are not carried forward/or Considered as backlog vacancy in case unfilled hence other category candidates may be allowed provisionally to apply for post subjected to condition that they will be considered for the post as an UR Candidate only if EWS category seat is otherwise not filled.
# - Educational Qualifications for non-medical candidates (as applicable):
1. Master’s degree in concerned specialty as under: -
i. Anatomy: -M.Sc. (Human Anatomy)
ii. Physiology: -M.Sc. (Medical Physiology / Physiology)
iii. Biochemistry: -M.Sc. (Medical Biochemistry / Biochemistry)
iv. Pharmacology: -M.Sc. (Medical Pharmacology / Pharmacology)
2. A doctorate degree of recognized university.
GENERAL CONDITIONS
1. All the posts carry usual allowances as admissible to Central Government Employees of similar status at Gorakhpur, Uttar
Pradesh.
2. Application Process: - The aspiring applicants satisfying the eligibility criteria in all respect can submit their application only through ON-LINE mode. The On-line registration of application is made available on AIIMS, Gorakhpur official website i.e. http://www.aiimsgorakhpur.edu.in. The link for submission of online applications in respect of above said posts along-with other relevant information will be activated on the date of advertisement on Employment News/ Rojgar Samachar. The last date of online submission of applications will be Thirtieth Day (30th Day) from the date of publication of advertisement in Employment News/ Rojgar Samachar.
3. The applicants applying in response to this advertisement should satisfy themselves regarding their eligibility for the post applied for. They must be fulfilling eligibility criteria as on the closing date of applications failing which their application will be rejected.
4. The Candidate must ensure that their photo and signature should be clearly visible in preview at the time of filling of application in online mode. If photo/signature image is displayed small or not visible in preview on website, that means photo/signature is not as per the AIIMS, Gorakhpur prescribed and, in that case, your application will be rejected. So, be careful while uploading your photo and signature. Both must be visible clearly on Online Application form.
5. In case a candidate wishes to apply for more than one post, he/she is required to fill in the form separately through On-line mode only.
6. It is mandatory for candidate to send signed copy of online application form along with self-attested copies of certificates/documents in support of fulfilling the essential criteria of age, educational qualification, teaching/research experiences etc. besides others in support of their candidature within 15 days from the last date of filling online application form. The Experience Certificate should clearly show the period of experience, duration of experience (“from” to “to”), Nature of experience (either teaching or research) etc. The candidates can only mention those teaching experiences which are recognized by MCI/Govt. of India. On-line application without receipt of hard copy application will not be considered.

12. Candidates applying under any of the reserved category posts, viz. SC/ST/OBC/PwBD (OPH-OL)/EWS will be considered subject to Caste/OH Certificate issued by the appropriate/Competent Authority on the prescribed format. Community should be clearly and legibly mentioned in the Certificate.
13. Applicants applying for the posts reserved for OBC must obtain certificate of OBC (non- creamy layer) in the prescribed form issued by Competent Authority. The certificate should be of the current financial year, in accordance with instructions issued by the Government of India in this respect from time to time. Applicants should ascertain that they belong to the reserved categories (caste) enlisted in the Central List for the Other Backward Classes. OBC candidate(s) should not belongs to Creamy Layer and their sub-caste should match with the entries in Central List of OBC, failing which their candidatures will not be considered under any of the applied reserved category post(s). Similarly, EWS certificate will be strictly as per the instructions of the Government of India.
14. Only such persons would be eligible for reservation under PwBD (OPH-OL) quota in service/posts who suffer from not less than 40% of physical disability. Person who wants to avail the benefit of reservation would have to submit a Disability Certificate as issued by a Competent Authority in prescribed format.
15. The candidates are to satisfy all eligibility criteria before online application. They must possess the educational qualification and experiences as recognized by the Govt. of India. Their candidature will be cancelled at any stage if it is found that their educational qualification or experiences is not recognized by the Govt. of India.
16. Qualifications and Experiences: Qualifications and experiences as prescribed may be relaxed in exceptional cases at the discretion of the Selection Committee with prior approval of the Competent Authority. The experience will be counted as on last date of submission of online application. The equivalent qualification will be decided by the Competent Authority of AIIMS, Gorakhpur and his/her decision in this regard will be the final.
17. Short Listing/Methods of the Selection: The prescribed qualification is minimum and mere possessing the same does not entitle any candidate to be called for interview or for selection. Based on details of the candidate, the Screening Committee may short- list candidates for interview. If required there may be Screening test to shortlist candidates for interview in case large number of candidates apply for a post or posts. Candidates called for interview will have to produce all relevant original documents as proof of details furnished in their application at the time of interview. They may also be asked to submit an affidavit/declaration as decided by the AIIMS, Gorakhpur at time of Interview. The methodology of selection will be decided by the Selection Committee as deemed fit besides any other matter relating to the selection process.
18. Site of Interview: Interviews will be held at AIIMS Gorakhpur or any other place as decided by the Executive Director, AIIMS, Gorakhpur. No TA/DA will be paid for appearing in the interview.
19. APPLICATION FEES:
a) General (UR)/ OBC /EWS Candidates: - Rs.3,000/- (Rupees Three Thousand Only).
b) *SC/ST/ Women’s/Persons with Benchmark Disabilities Candidates – Rs.200/- (Rupees Two Hundred Only).
c) The candidate pay prescribed application fees through Online Mode Only via payment gateway of AIIMS, Gorakhpur.
Transaction/ Processing fee, if any, as applicable will be payable to the bank by the candidate. d) Application fee once remitted shall not be refunded under any circumstances.
Note: - * This fee of Rs. 200/- (Rupees Two Hundred Only) shall be refunded duly deducting Bank Charges as applicable, on appearing of the candidate in the Interview.
20. The applicants already in Government service shall have to produce Relieving Certificate from their present employer before joining the Institute.
21. The applicants already in Government service (including AIIMS Employees) shall have to produce No Objection Certificate from their present employer at the time of Interview or as per the instructions issued from time to time. However, they have to take prior permission from their employer while applying for the post. No candidate will be allowed to appear the interview without NOC from his/her employer.
22. Decision of AIIMS, Gorakhpur is final: The decision of the AIIMS, Gorakhpur in all matters relating to eligibility, acceptance or rejection of the applications, penalty for false information, mode of selection, methodologies for the selection, selection and any corrigendum or revision of the advertisement or any other information regarding this recruitment will be posted on the official website of AIIMS, Gorakhpur only in due course. OTHER INFORMATION FOR THE CANDIDATES
(i) All India Institute of Medical Sciences is an autonomous body established under the Act of Parliament. (ii) Service under the Institute is governed by that Act and the Rules & Regulations framed thereunder.
(iii) The Institute strives to have a workforce which reflects gender parity and women candidates are encouraged to apply.
(iv) All the posts carry usual allowances as admissible to Central Government Employees of similar status at Gorakhpur, Uttar Pradesh.
(v) Probation period: The period of probation is two years.
(vi) Assessment Promotion: A faculty after rendering fixed years of service on a grade may be considered for assessment promotion subject to the Rules and Regulations applicable from time to time.
(vii) The applicants, who do not have requisite qualifications up to the last date for submission of online applications, will not be considered.
(viii) Incomplete application(s) will be summarily rejected. Applications received after the last date of submission of online application will not be considered. The decision of the Competent Authority of AIIMS, Gorakhpur in this regard will be final.
(ix) The period of experience wherever prescribed shall be counted after obtaining the prescribed educational qualification.
(x) The employees of the Institute will be governed by the New Pension Scheme as per the provision contained in the Ministry of Finance, Department of Economic Affairs (ECB & PR Division). Notification No. 5/7/2003-ECB&PR dated 22.12. 2003.However, pay protection and continuation of past services of the existing Govt. employees selected to the post of Faculty will be considered strictly as per the Rules.
(xi) Last Date of the submission of online application: 30 days from the date of publication of advertisement in
Employment News/Rojgar Samachar.
(xii) The post(s) is/are whole time and private practice of any kind is prohibited.
(xiii) The candidates are likely to be posted at rural health and urban health centers or other centers attached with the Institute for the period to be decided by the Institute as applicable.
(xiv) AIIMS reserves the rights to increase or decrease the number of vacancies.
(xv) While every effort will be made to provide residential accommodation to the Faculty appointed at the Institute subject to availability but in view of the paucity of the residential accommodation in the campus it may not be possible to provide accommodation in every case. In the event that no accommodation is provided, necessary H.R.A. as admissible to Central Government Servants of similar status stationed at Gorakhpur, Uttar Pradesh will be provided.
(xvi) Canvassing of any kind will be a disqualification.
(xvii) The candidate should not have been convicted by any Court of Law.
(xviii) In case any information given or declaration by the candidate is found to be false or if the candidate has willfully suppressed any material information relevant to this appointment, he/she will be liable to be removed from the service and any action taken as deemed fit by the Appointing Authority.
(xix) The Competent Authority reserves the right of any amendment, cancellation and changes to this advertisement as a whole or in part without assigning any reason or notice.
(xx) The decision of the Competent Authority regarding interview, verification of documents and selection would be final and binding on all candidates. No representation/correspondence will be entertained in this regard.
(xxi) All disputes will be subject to jurisdiction of Court of Law at Gorakhpur.
